L’espace entre les notes
May 25, 2024
Ça et About Time. C’est l’amour.
In the morning cold
You do wake up slow
And I get up quick
Make the kettle click
And I know I do
Sometimes annoy you
But you know it’s true
That I adore you
Would you rub my back
If I sang you to sleep?
Would you hold my name
Like you hum so sweet?
Would you keep me up
If gravity is not enough?
Will you be there ’til the end?
I know that I will
When you go away
Got to go and play
‘Til the end of day
‘Til I hit the hay
‘Cause when I’m alone
And you aren’t home
I’m a lonely one
Always on the run
Would you rub my back
If I sang you to sleep?
Would you hold my name
Like you hum so sweet?
Would you keep me up
If gravity is not enough?
Will you be there ’til the end
I know that I will?
Mm, I know that I will
La berceuse par excellence, en particulier si vous avez une fille.
Est-ce que les gouttes de pluie sont tes larmes?
How, how can you catch the sun?
Can you breathe when you’re on the run?
Slow down my darling
Every now and then
Come and take my hand
For every little lie you tell so you can hide
Will grow inside your chest
Your heart will need to rest
So come into my arms

À quoi ressemble être une souris dans un champ de mûres.
Qui a une voix plus cristalline en LIVE?
Noirceur
If you, if you could return
Don’t let it burn
Don’t let it fade
I’m sure I might be rude
But it’s just your attitude
It’s tearing me apart
And it’s ruining everything
I swore, I swore I would be true
And honey, so did you
So why were you holding her hand?
Is just the way we stand?
Were you lying all the time?
Was it just a game to you?
And I’m in so deep
You know I’m such a fool for you
You’ve got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger?
Do you have to, do you have to, do you have to let it linger?
Oh, I thought the world of you
I thought nothing could go wrong
But I was wrong, I was wrong
If you, if you could get by
Trying not to lie
Then things wouldn’t be so confused
And I wouldn’t feel so used
But you always really knew
I just want to be with you
And I’m in so deep
You know I’m such a fool for you
You’ve got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger?
Do you have to, do you have to, do you have to let it linger?
You know I’m such a fool for you
You’ve got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger?
Do you have to, do you have to, do you have to let it linger?
Bonheur
Est-ce que la simplicité a vraiment besoin d’être justifiée?

Gushing on the phone
You’re blushing in my favorite shade
I’m clutching to your glow
It feels so pretty on my face
So come on and wait around
I’m a slut in love with the speed of sound
It’s crushing in my brain
Yeah it’s crushing in my brain
(In my brain)
Ringing in my ears
The stinging realization that I hadn’t felt for years
I didn’t know I’d been so patient
So it seems to be or so it is the only truth
The only thing I need
Is the speed of the sound of you
The only thing I need
Is the speed of the sound of you
The only thing I need
Is the speed of the sound of you
And I could cry, I love the sound
And I could cry, I love the sound
If you could lie me down tonight
I hear the speed of the sound
Of you
Of you
Of you
